Cruwella
Loves a mink stole; Evil soul; Fur of mole
A bit of a fink contemptible person in pink
Cannot stand defeat; Not low enough to cheat
But not averse to a little psychological intervention
Not to mention an outburst here and there
It's only fair and healthy not to bottle it up
Somewhat of a hedonistic reputation
Like a cat who plays with her prey
Minor torture in certain situations
Can help to take the pain away, so it's said
I'm not convinced you're quite right in the head
Pimp; capricious to the last moves real fast
Just can't say no, to slightly sinful temptation
Fick, interchangeable, institutional vacillation
Precocious child, prone to flights of fancy like Sid and Nancy
Unpredictable, sudden change of moods
Cruwella says that rules are made by fools, just can't understand
Why some people think freedom can't be bought or sold
For ingots of gold in exchange for sensory deprivation
Not to mention. In other words, turning a blind eye.

Greg
Started out writing a soulful song, with a doleful melody
But then I realised it must not be that way
Every day should bring happy thoughts and memories
Gregar...Gregar..
Gregarious by nature recall the smile he wore each time we met
Mischevious twinkle in his eyes we'll never forget
Let's jump up and down; the gifts Greg left us lot
“We don't know how long we've got 'til we're in our plot”
Start the mosh with a push in the back
Join the boys and girls in the fray
Then the Greg we love will always, always, be, just away
Now he's making mayhem in a different dimension; suspension
Another world, another planet
No looking back, no way down
Lust for life, but he couldn't stay
Greg's not really gone, he's just away.

Puritan Age
This is a Puritan age - Cruelty in vogue again
Electro shock for your autistic kids
I thought that's what Victorians did
Accuse the accuser- Abused turns abuser - It's a state of distrust
Protect the molester - Arrest the Protestor
Deep sleep of the just... a minute now
Quoting an old mate Jeff:
“Judgemental twits and hypocrites” irk him
Hates it all, not impressed
Corporate bankers deserve a good birching
Bringing back Dickensian days
Enabling profits under false pretences
Urchin, waif and stray
You're in the Workhouse by the time you are Thirteen
Til death do us party
Don't talk to me about the good old days
It's a witch hunt, but who'll end up in the duck pond
Fun Police are at it again
Protector – defender - Sadistic agenda
Believe in God if you must
Immigrants, benefit scroungers
Unemployed cripples, tory club loungers
Sip Moet while deciding our futures
Dirty shades of Orwellian grey
Let's Oliver Twist again before dehumanisation
Turn off the TV and find another way
Let's Oliver Twist again – what's the fascination
Read the Daily Mule then look the other way while we slay
Accuse the accuser- Abused turn abuser - It's a state of distrust - Protector – defender - Sadistic agenda - Believe in God if you must

Jeremy Corbyn
He's been an MP for many a year
'til now reports of him spread only fear
But as Labour leader, a man to cheer? Who's that?
He is the one trying to calm the hysteria
While war mongers' drones drop bombs out in Syria
Cameron says we can kiss his posterior – but not JC
Now the Blairites all want him to fall on his sword
But JC's not one to go back on his word
He might end up like Kelly found dead in a wood, but that's....
He started world war three, going to save the dear old Beeb
Got Hedge Fund bankers on the run. Who's that?
Maybe he is an honest man?
Stands up for right whenever he can
At question time you hear the peoples' voice
One day he could be some peoples' choice
Says the poor should not pay. That war is not the way
Why not let him have his say? Who's that?
He wants a society where all is fair.
For a feckless politician that's very rare
Lunatic left? Au Contraire. Who's that?
New politics is coming about
Answer quite calmly, there's no need to shout
Even when the interviewers a lout. Good Luck.
Murdoch's vultures portray him as sinister
Guess what? He might be the next Prime Minister
Grandad started world war 1. Wouldn't push The red button
Chairman Mao on a bike with a sense of fun - Who's that?
Going to change it all if he can, just an ordinary, everyday man
I understand Billy Bragg is a fan as well as Jeremy Clarkson
Who's that? - Diane Abbot, John McDonnell, Andy Burnham.

Gunga Din
If I could bottle or preserve this feeling
To feed off for the rest of my days.
Gladly apply the daily dosage of sunshine rays -
that make me happy
No black dog haunting my shoulder; I'll be a bear
Don't ask for much; just freedom of spirit -
We all know nothing is fair
Been having feelings of non existence – is anyone there
Can't do the things you once used to –
But you don't really care
Apparently if I give up smoking - I will have better sex
Not sure if that's a curse or a blessing -
Might be more of a pest
I get bogged down with the trouble and strife
It's a tribal war no one can win, so
Beam me up to Alpha Centauri - To think and do nothing
I had a day to go where I wanted - Any place that I pleased
Casual relations with itinerant strangers -
It's all a bit of a tease
Taking potshots at the latest proposals
Put it all in the bin, cos
Everything is coming up roses except for Gunga 'din'.

Melanie
That is all Melanie
No one can imagine what drove you to calamity
Done with dignity
I salute your bravery
The worst thing a Catholic girl can do
Your hell was here on earth nothing so cruel
Hail Mary, roserry take them with you
Goodbye to pergatory
Melanie
That is all there will ever be
Courage
No more time to dwell
Long term addiction
Mainlining life
On a Barber's wages
She used to feel useful
Part of society
Getting ever more socially adrift – frailty
Police called every number on your phone at 3am
Torment that drove you took you home; all alone
That is all Melanie
No one can imagine what drove you to calamity
Done with dignity
I salute your bravery
Melanie
That is all there will ever be.

Queen Bee
It's like going out with Her Maj
She's loaded, but doesn't carry cash
No expectations, great
Let it ring, feel the sting
Teetering on stilettos
Pigeon toed camel train
Ready to crawl, Cardasian
That's when the book fell to pieces
Queen Bee
Geraldine pushed me out of the way
So Dave could take a 'selfie' of her and John Bowe
All part of the show
They have no idea who I am
Not saying she's too much, but
Seemed like such a big deal back then
Doesn't mean anything now
Butterflies dance and entwine
Spiders nesting in your ears or worse overnight
Queen Bee
Hairy happenings
Bees in the mist no rest for the wicked
Long legged daddys in tights
Queen Bee

Sanctuary
Oh this it is our sanctuary, and we're very pleased to be
Around the pit, not of despair, quite the contrary
Under the stars or clear blue sky, God Pete protects us all
In the fire glow we take a turn playing all the songs we know
From you can't bring your dogs in 'ere mate, to I forgot the milk
[Give your money to millionaires, see the smiling faces]
Dave'll cut his liver out and pin it on yer braces
It's not Spain or the Algarve, but you can take yourself away
For months or weeks or just a few precious summer days
To live in serenity, whatever that may be to you
Paint a picture in your mind, to take away and hold on to
Endless joy absorbing, naturality;
not far from so-called civilisation, sans austeristy
*Cross the troll bridge at your peril, mind the archers in the wood They might shoot if you're causing trouble, so you'd better be good
We don't drink from a flagon, or eat from a silver plate
But you are always more than welcome to bring yourself, the wife, a tent, the kids and don't forget the dogs mate
Beware the Hedge monster and his dastardly wicked ways
Hear him stagger 'round after dark
'Cos he's a cider head these days.

Foxes
Don't cash out early
Got to keep the faith
Did Vardy dive or was he pushed
Come on son lead the way
The Premier league could be ours in days
Super Foxes got the pack on the run
Top of the shop at christmas
Odds of 5000 to 1
Confounding pundits and punters
Telling us it's all Tottenham's
Making defences look like Laurel and Hardy
Sticking 'em in where it hurts
Wile and guile, no fear no dread
We'll grind their bones white black or red
Tis the season of the Fox
2015 til now
Leicester City Premier League Champions
How does that sound
Power of the Kings
The Fossils, the Filberts
Led by the Tinkerman
Lineker can't disguise his joy
Don't walk out before the end
The Foxes never quit
Got to keep the faith for as long as it takes
We're all together in it
When we're smiling, yes when we're smiling
The whole world's going to see
It ain't no fluke we're number one
Champions of the Premier League.

They done kicked the door in
Ted Campbell: “They done kicked the door in”
Officer Lefevers, announced himself as police, but was confronted by 74 year old Army Vet James Howard Allen with a gun
Officer Lefevers shot Mr Allen in his house twice; Allen died later like a bum
A family is grieving they had requested a welfare check on their elderly relative
Responding officers shot the man instead.
“Somebody kicks your door in, comes in your house - your first instinct is defend yourself,” said local man Otis Thompson.
“I’m kind of shocked. I can’t believe something like this would happen – can’t believe it could have happened.”
Proceudre to violate a Man's home, his place his space
“Due to some medical issues - they were concerned for his well-being,” said Gastonia Cop, Helton. (You've got to laugh)
Mr Allen was an Army vet who had heart surgery a week ago.
“There should have been a better way to handle this. Something else could have been done. I’m so mad; I’m hurt. I’m hurt.”
An officer visited Mr Allen's home around 10:20, but received no answer. Anson County Sheriff’s Office asked that local hospitals be checked, but Allen was not found.
Police returned. To enter Mr Allen’s home, neighbours report that police and firefighters kicked the door in.
Otis Thompson, a friend who would take care of Allen, thinks Allen was scared – no shit
Someone kicks your door in, what you gonna think?
Maybe he had had enough / a death wish
With failing health he saw a way out
Doesn't make it right
Crazy dumb assed approach
Fought for his Country
Taken down by one of his own
A tragic end to - life

Witness to an Execution

Witness to an Execution
Rhonda Cook recounts what it is like being in the chamber
When death row is about to take a life.
She said the singing is what I will always remember
About the execution of Kelly Renee Gissendaner.
Her voice was joyful and light
As she sang the first verse of “Amazing Grace.”
By the second, though, the 47-year-old woman was dying
Struggling to sing as the lethal injection drug took hold.
I was left with the thought that her song was to remind us
Of how she saw her life
Kelly planned her husband’s murder
Then spent her final years in prison trying to find Christ
I have been a media witness for 14 executions;
lethal injection and electrocution in one case.
For the most part, there is a sameness about the people dying
But this one took me to another place.
There were pleas from her supporters
In the days before the deed was done
The first woman for 70 years to be put to death in Georgia
I would say, she was a special one.
She did not commit the murder
And her spiritual rehabilitation in jail
Led many to believe her soul had been saved
Clemency not death should have been passed down

JC second coming

Jeremy Corbyn
He's been an MP for many a year
Now Tory fox hunters have someone to fear
Still Labour leader, a man to cheer? Who's that?
The unelectable one has done it again
Can he go one step further than comrade Tony Benn
Take a general election the backstabbers said he'd never win, go on
He is the one trying to calm the hysteria
While war mongers' drones drop bombs out in Syria
The May creature says we can kiss her posterior – but not JC
Now the Blairites all want him to fall on his sword
But JC's not one to go back on his word
He might end up like Kelly found dead in a wood
Who killed Robin Finlayson Cook
He started world war three, going to save our industries
Got Hedge Fund bankers on the run. Who's that?
Maybe he is an honest man? Stands up for right whenever he can
At question time you hear the peoples' voice
One day he could be some peoples' choice
Says the poor should not pay. That war is not the way
Why not let him have his say? Who's that?
He wants a society where all is fair.
For a feckless politician that's very rare
Lunatic left? Au Contraire. Who's that?
New politics is coming about
Answer quite calmly, there's no need to shout
Even when the interviewers a lout. Who's that, Jeremy Paxman
Murdoch's vultures portray him as sinister
Guess what? He might be the next Prime Minister
Grandad started world war 1. Wouldn't push The red button
Chairman Mao on a bike with a sense of fun - Who's that?
Going to change it all if he can, just an ordinary, everyday man
I understand Billy Bragg is a fan and so is Paul Weller!
Says the poor should not pay. That war is not the way
Why not let him have his say? Who's that?
Who's that? - Diane Abbot, John McDonnell, Andy Burnham and Dave's favourite; Dennis Skinner.
